Ok- we finally get some snow around here in Southern Ontario. Anyone who knows me well realizes my love for the winter and all it’s activities. Theresa and I head off to the Golf Course in Binbrook for some family time last Sunday. I took this shot of Jamie catching some great air and his brother getting out of the way- just on time! It wasn’t even snowing- just the impact of him hitting the jump. He was so amazed at the air he was grabbing. We are in trouble!
Thanks for stopping by our blog! i am proud to present our 2009 wedding review slideshow. This is some of the great moments from our 2009 season showcasing some of our favourite images from the year. All with the theme of ‘kiss’! Should grab a coffee, let it load up a bit before playing, turn your speakers up and enjoy. This is best viewed on our blog in this size, but by clicking on the Vimeo logo in the bottom right corner- you will link to the Vimeo site where you can view in HD. Please enjoy, and as always we love the comments!

David had the pleasure of spending the day photographing Sharon and Ryan’s wedding on January 2nd. Another great wedding to start the year off! Sharon and Ryan and their very dedicated wedding party braved the cold for some outdoor shots (I say dedicated because it was like minus 20 out!) Congratulations guys!
They celebrated their reception at the CorkTown Pub in Hamilton.
Happy New Year to all! After a much needed break we have had an opportunity to ‘re-boot’ over the holidays and now with all this new inspiration I look forward to 2010.

Thousands showed up today for the Olympic Torch Relay in Caledonia. What a buzz as many cheered them on through town. Amazing to see the support on a regular work day at 4:30pm and it was thrilling to be there to see this support. Glad to hear they were able to make it through the Six Nations despite the protests.
Well. Here it is…. my first blog entry in eons. Photographer + Christmas = chaos! There has still loads of shooting and some great moments I have been able to capture in the last couple of months.
We have been very busy catching up on post production and wedding rush orders, and working on some new ideas. Here is a mix of some of the great shoots we have had in the last little while.
Jamie Ryan and Serena
Jamie Ryan and Serena at our Christmas Shoot. I told my wife Theresa that I was all wrapped up shooting for the season - she reminded me that I had one more…. our own kids! My son’s Jamie and Ryan are always ready for some fun in front of the camera.
Serena our Niece is lovin her mom’s shirt here after we kidnapped her and brought her on our shoot.
Panama Shannon and Gord’s Family Session
Shannon and Gord - they took us to Panama 4 years ago to photograph their wedding. The start of my destination wedding services (: They have been very busy since then! Little Emily, little Molly and big bro Cody.
Emilie and Kris’s wedding
Emilie and Kris celebrated their wedding at the Ancaster Old Mill.
Niki and Mike’s Wedding
Niki and Mike also celebrated their wedding at the Ancaster Old Mill.
Jackie and Taylor’s Wedding
Jackie and Taylor celebrated their wedding at the Casablanca Inn. We then went to Battlefield House in Stoney Creek and then off to the beach.
Charlotte and Wayne’s Wedding
Charlotte and Wayne celebrated their wedding at the Oakville Conference Center in Oakville. We stayed on location as time was short, but we were able to pull of some great shots.
I photographed Charlotte’s sister Jessica’s wedding 11 years ago! Great seeing Jessica and D’arcy again. Congrats guys!
Michelle and Rob E-Session
Michelle and Rob met Dave for their engagement session. Michelle and Rob are tying the knot next June 26th in Guelph.
Sharon and Ryan’s E-Session
Dave met with Sharon and Ryan for their Engagement session. Sharon and Ryan are getting hitched on January 2nd here in Hamilton!
Thanks so much for having a cruise through some of our recent work!
Windy and cold weather kept us indoors most of the day with Marianne and Joe! Well it was October 31st! Regardless we still had a great time as always and ended up at the Royal Botonical Gardens for photos. The ceremony took place at St. Nikolas on Nash street Hamilton. Off to the Grand Olympia for the reception celebration. Congratulations guys!
A big thanks goes out to Josh and Robin of Cinemajic who provided video services. These guys rock so anyone searching for video services they come highly recommended.
Met with Niki and Mike for our engagement session on Sunday. I think this is almost it for engagement sessions for the Fall! Good thing we were able to get Niki and Mike’s session in as they are tying the knot on November 21st, at the Old Mill Ancaster. I look forward to spending their special day with them!
As you can probably tell- I am getting caught up on blog posts. It has been crazy getting caught up with the huge amount of interest in our services from the Hamlton Bridal Show a few weeks ago and keeping up with post production on current projects. Just a reminder to anyone reading that we are about 80% booked up for the 2010 season.
Met with Colleen and Dave on Sunday for our e-session. Finally we had a great day of sunshine and the colours were at the peak! Colleen and Dave are celebrating their big day on September 4th, 2010 at Cranberry Creek Garden’s in Simcoe. Very exciting as I have never had the opportunity to shoot at this venue. Congrats guys and thanks for meeting me!
