Last Saturday kicked off the season for me and I am very excited about that! Elizabeth and Brad, the wedding party and families were awesome to work with…super laid back and go with the flow. Lucky enough with the weather to even get married on the roof outside! I did a bit of scouting around Carmen’s last week and found this awesome pine tree forest which gave us something different to work with. Congrats guys and thank you to REV Deb Coleman and Rainbow Bridal.

I photographed Chiara and Mike at Puddicombe Farms in Winona. This location was great as it offered loads of options for back grounds. It is a 200 year old fruit farm and there is charge to use the property, but well worth it. Chiara and Mike will be celebrating their wedding this July 14th. Looking forward to it guys!

Lindsay and Garrett Tie the knott in Glanbrook

Well finally i am getting caught up in some blogging! We are going to be posting several of our commissions from last year’s season in the upcoming weeks. (:

Lindsay and Garrett celebrated their wedding on Lyndsay’s family farm in Glanbrook. Congratulations guys! Hard to imagine this time of year, but it was one of the hottest days of the year. The air conditioning in the house was a relief! The ceremony took place in the back yard, and the reception in a tent on the property. Absolutely stunning, you could tell a lot of effort had been put in to prepare for the day. It was great to see some familiar faces at the wedding as well! Thanks to Special Event Rentals in Burlington.

Kirby and Samantha Tie the knot in Muskoka

I was lucky enough to be the photographer for this awesome wedding on Lake Joe, thanks to Chris of Tamarack North who we have been working with for several years now. The day started at Red Leaves on Lake Rosseau in the spa for prep photos of the girls. The weather held up for the most part which made for some amazing clouds. Then off to Rocky Crest where the guests parked and were transported to the venue by boat.. Samantha and Kirby and the wedding party was soooo laid back making this a real pleasure to photograph. The drive shed was converted into a reception venue and the chapel on site was used for the ceremony- it looked amazing! I absolutely love shooting in Muskoka so this was a real treat. The Catering provided by Jaynes Gourmet from Toronto was enjoyed by all. Thanks to everyone and congrats guys!

Krista and Justin Tie the knot in Ancaster

Another hot hot hot day! Krista and Justin celebrated their wedding at her parents farm in Ancaster, which by the way has some of the best sweet corn in the area available! A thunder storm and rain interrupted us for a bit, but did not dampen any spirits. Krista and Justin just wouldn’t stop smiling which I love to see. The ceremony was on the front porch, and reception and fun for the guests was onsite as well. Carol Rame did a great job at keeping things organized and coordinated through the day as there were so many awesome details. Floral designs by Sticks and Stems. It was great seeing so many familiar faces as our family has known the Cranston’s for many years. Congrats guys!! Family can view the photos at our online store

Terry and Matt Tie the knot at Crosswinds Golf and Country Club

Congratulations to Terry and Matt! We had a hot day in Milton photographing Terry and Matt’s wedding day. Thanks to Angela and Theresa for coming out and helping out with this wonderful event. Terry and Matt had everything carefully orchestrated, and it all went down smooth! Nice job! This is one of those venues that I love to shoot at as it offers some awesome scenery and architecture. Michael and Julie came across our display at the Burlington Bridal Show 2 years ago and hired me as the photographer for their daughter’s wedding. What a thrill and honour, as Michael and Julie are the directors for the Ron James Show on CBC. With rainy weather the ceremony was moved indoors at the last minute. But like I always say ‘Happy is the bride that it rains on’ , it is good luck right???? Well luck moved in and we were able to do the photo shoot outdoors, thank goodness! Lindsay and Matt were cool about the whole thing and just went with the flow which is an attitude I love to see. Congratulations to a great couple! A big thanks to the Ancaster Old Mill for working with me in such tight time restrictions.

Krista and Kyle tie the knot in Hamilton

Krista and Kyle celebrated their wedding on July 2nd in Hamilton. We finished the photo shoot with the wedding party and the two of them before the ceremony, as there was not much time after. We visited some of the more colourful locations in Hamilton which was awesome! No official photo location, we just had a plan and went with it as most of you know I love! It was another hot one! Off to the Grand Olympia in Stoney Creek for the ceremony and reception. Congratulations guys! Loved the jerseys….nice touch!

It was great working with Gina and Alfonso, family and friends at their wedding on June 11th. A very energetic wedding, and a sincere couple that really made the day go so well for their many guests. We did the photo shoot at the Royal Botanical Gardens, and in Hamilton off Eastport Drive. Then off to Michelangelo Event Venue in Hamilton for the reception. I stayed for reception coverage and the entertainment, and food was awesome. I worked along side with Brad Howe from Howe Video Services, and that in itself is always a pleasure- Brad and I work very well together creating memories for our clients. Congratulations Gina and Alfonso- I know you will make an awesome couple.
